Price is changeable.Basmati 1847 is a modern and improved form of the famous variety Kissan Basmati 1509, enhanced for disease resistance without genetic modification. Key features of this variety are as follows:Natural disease resistance: Basmati 1847 contains important disease resistance genes (xa13, Xa21) and (Pi2, Pi54) that fight against all diseases especially Bacterial Blight, early and late blight as well as Brown Plant Hopper. Due to natural disease resistance, farmers expenditure on fungicides and antibiotic sprays is negligible.Short duration crop: This variety completes its journey from seed to seed in approximately 120 to 125 days. After transplanting the nursery into the field, it matures in only 90 to 95 days.Water saving: Due to its short maturity period, it requires less water in the final days, making it ideal for water-scarce areas. Its short duration also allows it to be cultivated after wheat harvest or with delayed sowing.Short stature and lodging resistant: Its short and strong stature makes it resistant to lodging. The plant does not fall even in strong winds, storms and severe weather conditions, preventing crop loss.Excellent tillering: Basmati 1847 plant produces more tillers (branches), which increases the number of panicles per acre and overall yield.Average yield: This variety has the capacity to produce an average of 60 to 65 maunds per acre under normal conditions.
